Book of the Month
For November, we’re reading A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles by Marianne Williamson. A timeless exploration of how love, not fear, is the most powerful force for transformation in our lives. With grace and honesty, Marianne reminds us that miracles aren’t rare or unreachable; they happen whenever we choose to see ourselves and others through the lens of love.
As mothers, it’s easy to get lost in the busyness, giving endlessly while quietly neglecting our own hearts. A Return to Love invites us back to center. To remember that when we live from love, forgiveness, and compassion, we reconnect with our truest selves. It’s a gentle call to release perfectionism, surrender fear, and trust that we are divinely guided.
And as we enter this season of Thanksgiving, it invites us to pause in gratitude; for the lessons, the love, and the challenges that help us grow. Gratitude becomes not just a response, but a quiet reminder of the abundance already within and around us.
Because ultimately, the greatest gift we can give our children is the work we do within ourselves. When we return to love, we show them what it means to live with faith, peace, and an open heart.
Join us this month as we journey inward, reflecting on what it means to live from love rather than fear. Together, we’ll explore how choosing love and gratitude can bring peace to our homes, joy to our hearts, and a deeper sense of purpose to our everyday lives.
Â
Key Takeaways:
-Â "We cannot give what we do not have."
- "People who have the most to teach us are often the ones who reflect back to us the limits to our own capacity to love, those who consciously or unconsciously challenge our fearful positions. They show us our walls."
- "We help another person accesss their highest by accessing our own. Growth comes from focus on our own lessons, not on someone else's."
- "Children learn more through imitation than through any other form of instruction. In that sense, my greatest gift to my daughters is that I continue to work on myself."
- "The more we learn about the light within us, the easier it ultimately becomes to forgive ourselves for the fact we're not perfect yet."
