Book of the Month
Â
For June, we’re reading "The Art of Encouragement; How to Lead Teams, Spead Love and Serve From The Heart" by Jordan Montgomery—a book that reminded me of the power of encouragement not only for ourselves but the impact it has on others. Most importantly reminds us that our words matter, our presence matters, and encouragement is a form of leadership we live daily.
As moms, mentors, and women who show up for others daily, we know encouragement isn’t always easy. But it’s powerful. And this month, we’re learning how to do it well.
Â
Key Takeaways:
- What we allow in your environment will become a part of it and will start to shape your thinking.
- One of the greatest gifts we can give to the world is to embrace the people who were there for us by paying it forward.
- We have to invest time in understanding the unique characteristics that make people who they are, what drives them, and what gives them meaning. Find ways to praise that.
-You are most effective when you are authentic. Be who you are.
